Nataly Portman vs. Gal Gadot: Celebrity Wars over Israel...and who is actually Israeli?

The recent escalation of warfare in Israel has brought to the front controversy regarding the response of famous Israeli women to the war.

Gal Gadot, who served in the IDF and lived in Israel most of her life, promoted peace on both ends in her post, but has been scrutinized by the media for not mentioning Palestine and stripped of her Wonder Woman title by random no names on Twitter.

Natalie Portman on the other hand, who never served in the IDF, and hardly lived in Israel, and already in 2018 called Israel "racist" and a "mistake," in an interview with BBC’s Arabic language channel, has been titled “educated” with her support for Palestinians.

So what does education mean in 2021? Where did Natalie Portman get her education from? And where did Gal Gadot?

What is the truth?

In the age of social media and opinions over saturation, for people living abroad is impossible to get information outside YouTube and the media.

Add to that family, friends and good old peer pressure, that is what mostly molds our opinion and character, while the media takes over our mind and scripts our perception.

Education nowadays is a loos term, and truthful information is being buried by highly paid, overly produced propaganda videos, while the title educated is thrown around like a used cloth, given to people who really don’t truly know anything but what they read or see in the news, watch on YouTube or hear from friends.

The news is a produced piece of entertainment that is meant to emotionally trigger your brain to respond- watch it, click on it and get addicted to it.

So are celebrities.

A truly educated person would not take a stand on a situation that he or she has not lived in and experienced first hand.

Reading history books does not give you the education you need to become a politician, just as YouTube does not give you the knowledge you need to see the truth.

Here is some first hand education from someone who actually lived in Israel:

Occupation / Eviction explained

After the Jews were slaughtered in the Holocaust, and rejected from most pieces of the earth, the British empire, who legally owned the piece of land called Palestine, gave it to the Jews through the Declaration of the Establishment of the State of Israel (Hebrew: הכרזה על הקמת מדינת ישראל‎), which was proclaimed on 14 May 1948.

The Jews moved in to that tiny piece of land which takes up 8,500 sf from the Middle East - a 3.5 million sf of land populated by Muslim states, and called it their own.

They built a country called Israel. Fought some wars, concurred some land that the enemies used to attack it, and proceeded with developing a democratic nation with thriving economy, tourism, technology and medical advancements.

Palestinians meanwhile, who still have a piece of land attached to Israel, struggled to let the Jews squeeze in, and as no other Muslim country accepted their brothers, they continued to fight for that land...even though it was legally given to the Jews.

Israel welcomed Palestinians into its land, giving them money, schooling, education, jobs and a co-existing living solutions, offering them all the opportunity a Democratic evolved nation can offer, yet hate continued to groom within some Palestinian groups. These groups formed into the terrorism group called Hamas.

Israel, to defend itself and its existence, had to then restrain Palestinians access to Israel at the border, and screen through people to detect terrorists. At the same time, to fight terrorism, Israel has utilized high intelligence targeted operations to locate and remove destructive terrorists who’ve been terrorizing and murdering its citizens.

To do such targeted operations, they made sure to evacuate innocent citizens from the the area prior to doing any targeted terrorists removal operation. For example, if they are about to bomb a building or a facility that is known by intelligence to hold weapons and terrorism operations against Israel, they alert and notify the residents nearby that they have to evacuate the area, so they don’t get killed.

Modern day media and uneducated celebrities call it Eviction by force.

On the ground, it is eviction for protection.

In addition, if an area is known by intelligence to be used as a war ground for terrorism operations, Israel will take over this area for a while, to prevent terrorists from continuing operations there, while giving citizens a break from their hostile brothers, in essence, protecting them.

There are plenty of YouTube videos showing IDF soldiers playing soccer with Palestinian kids, giving them food and supplies and helping them with medical needs...but you won’t see those. They don’t get as many views as the ones produced by terrorism groups for propaganda, as they are the ones holding all the money and funding from the citizens using it for weapons and production equipment. Those are the videos Natalie Portman watches, as it fits her entertainment production style.

Modern media and celebrities call it Occupation. On the ground, it is a temporary takeover over terroristic operational grounds in order to remove terroristic activities from it - allowing Palestinian citizens to live at peace, as well as Israel of course .

Israel’s purpose is not to kill innocent people- it is to target and remove terrorists operations, including its leaders. Also for the sake of innocent Palestinians, who live in horrific conditions and don’t have the chance to fight their terrorists leaders themselves.

Terrorists purpose is to kill every Jew alive in the Middle East, and kill any Palestinian who objects to that - including their own children.

That’s the difference, in real life, on the ground.

That’s education from people who actually live there.

Wonder Woman- Gal Gadot - have lived it.

Natalie Portman- have not.

Now you decide what your source of education should be.

Wars aside, there are many Arab citizens in Israel who can attest to the amazing living conditions offered to them in Israel, including schooling, education, jobs and seats in government positions.

There are millions of Muslims living peacefully with Israel in the Middle East who accepted Jews as a land worthy neighbor.

Still, there are the ones who choose to hold on to ancient biblical hate and genocide.

Sadly we cannot remove hate from the world, but we can only hope that love will reduce its impact.

Till then Israel has the right to exist, defend itself, and protect its citizens, and the Palestinian citizens, from terror and murder.

Israel deserves freedom just as Palestinians do. Occupation is not only a physical term - it’s a freedom term.

Terrorism has been occupying this region for way too long, and it’s time to put it to an end. For Israelis and for Palestinians.

Which is exactly what Gal Gadot said - but been minimized by the uneducated, who pretend to be educated, spreading uneducated opinions, calling it education.

As far as I'm concerned, Natalie Portman can be stripped from her Israeli Chick title, because there is nothing Israeli about her. Watching your birth country from the Hollywood entitled bubble you were raised in gives you zero knowledge, or education, about truthful world affairs. You can go back to doing nothing while Gad Gadot births babies while filming kick ass films, actually using her voice for peace - not fueling more war.
